Reese Barker

Graduated from WSU with BS degree in Industrial Engineering. (1968).

Completed Manufacturing Management Program with General Electric Co. (1972).

Completed an MBA program while working in my career in Medical Manufacturing and Operations Management (1988).

While all of the life-fulfilling things were going on, I continued to play the drums as a sideline, including band playing and teaching drumming as private lessons.

Music now fills some of my time as I play with a band and continue to teach young drummers.

Our activities include Weber State sports, Ogden Raptors baseball, Disneyland with grandkids, "Cruizes" with family and friends, and time at Bear lake at the condo.

Family history research is also an interest in our life.

Returned to Utah from work with GE and started a Medical Manufacturing career.

Medical companies worked for include Cutter Laboratories, Warner Lambert, Becton Dickenson, Med West, Iomed, and most recently Merit Medical.

I tried retirement from my career in Medical Manufacturing Management but was called out of retirement for three years to coach a Plant Management team at Smith Optics in Clearfield, Utah.

Finally Janet convinced me it was time to enjoy retirement and I have retired.

Janet and I have many plans for retirement and enjoy time with family and friends (even classmates that we see in the Ogden area).
