Plain City, Utah -

Carlene Fowers Crook, 74, returned to her Heavenly Father November 18, 2018. She was born May 21, 1944 to James Carl and Ruth Knight Fowers in Ogden, Utah.

She graduated from Weber High in 1962, where she was active in FHA and French Club, and was a Seminary Graduate.

She married Emmett Lane Crook, June 6, 1963 in Logan Temple.

Carlene was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. As a faithful daughter of the Lord she served with all her heart in many various callings which challenged her and helped her develop a steadfast testimony in her Savior, Jesus Christ. She had many hobbies, gardening, crocheting, cooking and was a talented seamstress. She was an avid reader and was always willing to she share her books with family and friends.

Carlene was employed by the 299th Range Control Squadron at Hill Air Force Base and retired after 24 years.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, daughter Cindi Redd* (Dirk Sanderson) Plain City, Alan (Michele) Crook, Coos Bay, OR. Nathan (Michelle) Crook, Bowling Green, OH. Seven wonderful grandchildren, Clint (Chantel), Kody (Aubrey), Lexi, Shaylen, Jessica, Kadi, and Emily and brother Kenneth. 
Carlene was preceded in death by her parents James and Ruth Fowers, *Son-in-law Glen Redd, brother Dee, and Sister Nelda.
Private Family Services held at Myers Ogden Mortuary.
